There is something timeless about a crochet curtain, especially when delicate roses emerge from the simple open and solid blocks of filet crochet. My Rose Curtain filet crochet pattern combines classic floral beauty with a touch of vintage charm, creating an elegant window valance that lets the light shine through while adding a lovely handmade detail to your home.

The curtain features a repeating design of graceful roses worked in traditional filet crochet, with a contrasting green lace edging along the bottom that beautifully frames the flowers and gives the curtain its distinctive character. I especially love how the rose motifs come alive when the curtain hangs against a bright window, with natural light highlighting every stitch and detail of the pattern.
In this Rose Curtain crochet tutorial, I will guide you through the pattern step by step and show you how to work the open and solid blocks that create the floral design. You can follow along with the filet crochet chart, written instructions, and video tutorial, making it easier to see exactly how this romantic rose pattern takes shape—one block at a time. 🌹
BLOCKING

Once your Rose Curtain is finished, blocking will help open up the filet crochet stitches, define the rose motifs, and give the curtain a neat, even shape. Gently wet-block the finished piece to the desired measurements, carefully straightening the edges and arranging the green lace edging before allowing it to dry completely.

– 2 white squares between the 2 black squares on the left side of the chart are not regular open blocks, they are curtain rod loops made of 8ch + dc.
