I use Patons Grace white (Snow) and turquoise (Aquifer), 1 ball each, and crochet hook size 3.50 mm.

Abbreviations:
R = round
sc = single crochet
ch = chain
sk = skip
dc = double crochet
sl st = slip stitch
beg = beginning

DRESS TOP

  • Ch 26 and join into ring with slip stitch
  • R1 – sc in each ch around – total 26 sc
  • R2 – sc in each sc back loop – total 26 sc
  • R3-4 – repeat round 2
  • R5 – sc 1 in each next 6 sc back loop, skip 1, sc 1 in each next 12 sc back loop, sk 1, sc 1 in each next 6 sc back loop – total 24 sc.
  • R6 – sc 1 in each next 5 sc back loop, sk 1, sc 1 in each next 12 sc back loop, sk 1, sc 1 in each next 5 sc back loop – total 22 sc.
  • R7 – sc 1 in each sc back loop – total 22 sc.
  • R8-10 – repeat round 7 three more times.
  • R11 – sc 1 in each next 5 sc back loop, sc 2 in next back loop, sc 1 in each next 10 sc back loop, sc 2 in next back loop, sc 1 in each next 5 sc back loop – total 24 sc.
  • R12 – sc 1 in each next 6 sc back loop, sc 2 in next back loop, sc 1 in each next 10 sc back loop, sc 2 in next back loop, sc 1 in each next 6 sc back loop – total 26 sc.

DRESS SKIRT

  • R13 – work in back loops only: ch 2, dc 1 in next, dc 2 in next, *dc 1 in each next 2 and dc 2 in next (=increase in every third st), repeat from* all around, you will have total of 34 dc, sl st in 2nd beg ch.
  • R14 – join second color with slip knot and sc 1 in back loops of each st around.
  • R15 – with main color sl st and repeat round 13 (increase in every third st), total of 45 dc, sl st in 2nd beg ch.
  • R16 – with second color repeat row 14.
  • R17 – with main color repeat row 13 (increase in every third st), total of 60 sc, sl st in 2nd beg ch.
  • R18 – with second color repeat row 14.
  • R19 – with main color repeat row 13 (increase in every third st), total of 77 dc, sl st in 2nd beg ch.
  • Skirt edge – reverse sc in each sc around (please see the video how to crochet reverse sc).

SHOULDER STRAPS

  • Join main color with sl st in 4th st from starting st on the back of the dress, sl st 8 across the edge, ch 7 for shoulder strap, sk 5 and sl st 8 across front edge of the dress, ch 7 for second strap, join with sl st in beg st.
  • Sl st in each slt and each ch. Fasten off.
