For the bigger black spiderweb I use Aunt Lydia’s crochet thread size 3 and crochet hook 3.25 mm. It measures about 12 inches in diameter (not including the loops). For the smaller white spiderweb I use crochet thread size 10 and crochet hook 2.75 mm. It measures about 9.5 inches in diameter.

Abbreviations:
R = round
ch = chain
dc = double crochet
sl st = slip stitch
beg = beginning
hdc = half double crochet
- Make a magic ring.
- R1 – ch 5 (counts as 1st dc and 2 ch), (dc + ch 2) 7 times in the ring, sl st in 3rd beg ch.
- R2 – ch 4, dc in same st, ch 3, *dc+ch+dc in next dc, ch 3, repeat from*, sl st in 3rd beg ch.
- R3 – sl st in ch1-space, ch 4, dc in same space, ch 2, *hdc in ch3-space, ch 2, dc+ch+dc in next ch1-space, ch 2, repeat from*, sl st in 3rd beg ch.
- R4 – sl st in ch1-space, ch 4, dc in same space, ch 3, *hdc in next hdc, ch 3, dc+ch+dc in next ch1-space, ch 3, repeat from*, sl st in 3rd beg ch.
- R5 – sl st in ch1-space, ch 4, dc in same space, ch 4, *hdc in next hdc, ch 4, dc+ch+dc in next ch1-space, ch 4, repeat from*, sl st in 3rd beg ch.

- Fasten off, cut off thread.
