I’m happy to share my third finished mandala from the book of Modern Crochet Mandalas by Interweave.
This one is called Wistful Wisteria and it’s designed by Sandra Eng.
I was happy to find all 8 colors of yarn at home to make almost the same mandala as in the book. I used Lion Brand cotton bonbons (color selection Nature) that are perfect for mandalas because each package includes 8 colors.
I love to crochet by the chart because I like the visual and to use the written instructions for additional help. And this book provides both, so it’s truly enjoyable to crochet mandalas.
Wistful Wisteria is the most colorful of my mandalas so far. And I love the color selection to reflect the beautiful wisteria tree:
I definitely recommend this book to learn to crochet mandalas. The designs are adorable, some are classic, some are floral, some even geometrical or other shapes, it’s a great choice! I intend to make quite a few more.
