I am so happy to share my Picot Mesh Shawl pattern with you, because it’s my first original shawl design!
This project started with me spotting the beautiful sparkling yarn ball on the shelf of my crafts store and not being able to leave it there. It was Lion Brand Summer Nights Blue Lagoon! I was so sure I can make something pretty with it. And so I made the Picot Mesh Shawl.
Besides, sometimes I need a project with repetitive pattern, so I can watch a movie and not worry about reading the pattern on each row. That’s why I created this shawl pattern. And I have to say, that’s what I call ‘crochet therapy’! It’s just so relaxing and enjoyable to work on it and watch it grow with each row.
Just be mindful not to miss any of the picots! I did it a few times and had to go back.
By the way, in case you want to use a different yarn, check out this great source for yarn substitution.
