Barbie can hit the beach right after the big movie premiere in her new Coastal Dress. This dress completes my Barbie Beach Dress collection, check out the other ones: Beachwalk Dress, Seaside Dress and Aloha Dress.
The Barbie Coastal Dress is easy to crochet using chevron stitch that creates the wavy pattern, and it’s made in one piece. I used the same stitch pattern to make the matching beach bag.

I use 3 colors of DMC Pearl Cotton size 8. One ball has 10g of thread and one ball of each color is enough. My colors are White (color A), Peach (color B) and Medium Sea Green (color C). Crochet hook is size 1.75 mm.
