If you love the timeless charm of granny stitch, you’re going to fall in love with my brand-new design — the Granny Cozy! This project is inspired by the nostalgic beauty of classic granny squares but worked up in a simple, continuous granny stitch that gives it a modern twist. This cozy is quick, fun, and a little addictive — the kind of project that makes you want to keep going “just one more row.”

The Granny Cozy is perfect for adding a touch of handmade warmth to your everyday life. You can use it to dress up a mug, jar, or even a small plant pot, making it both practical and stylish. Because it’s worked in granny stitch, you’ll get that lovely textured fabric with just the right amount of stretch, and it’s easy to customize with your favorite color combinations. I find that Alize Bella multicolor cotton yarn creates the perfect color waves for the cozy.

Grab your hook, pick your yarn, and join me in making your very own Granny Cozy! Whether you’re crafting it for yourself or as a gift, this project is a joyful reminder of why we love crochet — the perfect mix of tradition, creativity, and cozy comfort.
