February is the month of heart and Valentine. So I wanted to add a tutorial to my collection about how to crochet Danish heart. Let it be a reminder for us to take care of our heart and those of others.
The original designer of the Danish Heart is Allison Baker, and her original written pattern instructions used to be here: http://alipyper.com/2012/12/03/free-danish-heart-crochet-pattern/ But since that page doesn’t work anymore, please see my instructions below.
Danish heart is made in basketweave technique but don’t let it scare you, it’s super easy and perfect project for beginners and advanced crafters alike.
The heart is made of two crochet ovals that include slits for weaving the two pieces together. It’s as simple as that!
So here is my video, I hope you enjoy and find it helpful.
