Clover Table Runner is an easy crochet pattern to make a lacy springtime home decor. This pattern is light and airy, perfect for those breezy summer afternoons. The lace-like design allows the table’s natural beauty to shine through while adding a delicate touch of craftsmanship.
With this pattern you will learn to crochet four-leaf clover stitch and chain fringe for the border.
It’s an easy pattern, suitable for beginners to learn basic and not so basic crochet stitches. Once again I used Golo crochet thread to make this table runner, just like many of my other table runners. It’s fun to see the pattern in multi-color version, but I made a mini version of it with bright green color to show you the beautiful stitch in solid color.
The Clover Table Runner definitely needs blocking after you finish it. I usually make the the piece wet, stretch it out on blocking mats and attach it with pins. I also spray some starch to give it extra firm shape. Let it dry completely before removing the pins.

I use 1 ball of Golo crochet thread size 10 (ball size 250 yds). Color in tutorial is Bamboo (color A) and dark green (color B) for the border. Crochet hook is size 1.75 mm.
Abbreviations:
ch = chain
dc = double crochet
sc = single crochet
tr2tog = triple crochet 2 together (same stitch as tr-cl)
sp = space
tr-cl = triple crochet cluster (same stitch as tr2tog)
slst = slip stitch
trtr = triple triple crochet
hdc = half double crochet
Special stitch:
tr-cl / tr2tog = (yarn over twice, insert hook in the indicated stitch, yarn over, pull up a loop, 4 loops on hook, yarn over, pull through first 2 loops, yarn over, pull through next 2 loops, leave last 2 loops on hook) twice, yarn over, pull through all 3 loops on hook.
