Candy Heart Mandala was my obvious choice for February and also 6th mandala to crochet. It is designed by Melinda Miller.
I was so happy to find some seasonal and holiday-themed mandala patterns in the book of Modern Crochet Mandalas. And it’s always fun to find a new pattern to crochet a heart.

Candy Heart Mandala is made with my favorite cotton yarn Alize Bella. And it was quite easy to make. Once again I used both written instruction and the diagram, which why the book is so great to have both options.
I recommend the book to learn to crochet mandalas. The designs are adorable, some are classic, some are floral, a few seasonal, some even geometrical or other shapes, it’s a nice selection. There are over 50 beautiful patterns and I intend to make quite a few more mandalas.
